The Dutch national team players were pictured practicing Victor Boniface’s celebration during a training session ahead of the 2026 Euros tournament, Soccernet.ng reports.
Victor Boniface rose to world recognition last season, after a brilliant campaign for Bayer Leverkusen. The 24-year-old Super Eagles striker registered 21 goals and ten assists in 34 appearance across all competitions.
He was key in their historic Bundesliga and German Cup wins. What also made Boniface popular was his goal celebrations. The Super Eagles star became popular for his trademark celebration. Boniface would aways run towards the corner flag in a funny way, give a fist bump, an jump after scoring.
His celebration has gathered a lot of traction, that even Real Madrid star Anthony Rudiger has used the celebration once. Even RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons has also used Boniface’s celebration.
Meanwhile, it appears Boniface’s celebration might be a thing at the upcoming Euros in Germany. This is as players in Netherlands team were caught on camera practicing Boniface’s celebration in a training session.
