Ex-Super Eagles star Emmanuel Emenike set to launch hospital in Imo state

Former Super Eagles player Emmanuel Emenike is set to officially launch his own hospital in Owerri, Imo State this weekend, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Ex Fenerbahce player appeared in 35 matches for the Super Eagles and scored 16 goals, before ending his international career in 2015.

Since retiring from professional football, the ex-Nigerian striker has pursued various ventures, with his latest endeavor being the construction of a grand hospital in his home state, Imo.

The Emenike Hospital, which will open its doors to the general public on May 25th, is said to be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals.

Beyond enjoying a lavish lifestyle with the wealth he amassed as a footballer, Emenike has shown a commitment to giving back to society and using his resources for the greater good.

Meanwhile, Emenike recently criticized UK news site “The Mirror” for referring to Europa League champion Ademola Lookman as an “Everton flop” in a headline.

Emenike called out the British news site while praising Lookman’s incredible performance, stating “This is a massive achievement for the nation of Nigeria. However, as a Nigerian I feel very disappointed with this headline. This achievement has never been done in the history of the game. There’s not enough focus on what he’s achieved.”
