Nigerians abroad: Onyeka, Obiogumu, Irobiso, Itodo on goal rush in England, Germany, Romania, Albania

Soccernet.ng monitored several matches that could potentially involve Nigerian players on Saturday, April 13th.

Here are the most eye-catching highlights:

Albania

Peter Itodo delivered a man-of-the-match display as he scored two goals to inspire Luzi 2008 to a 4-0 win at home to Lushnja in the 1st Division.

It is the 20-year-old Lagos-born striker's 15th goal in 28 league games in his maiden season with relegation-battling Luzi 2008.

Only league leaders AF Elbasani's Bedri Greca (16) has scored more.

Belgium

Tolu Arokodare netted his 10th goal of the First Division A season for Genk, but it was only enough to earn a 1-1 draw with Cercle Brugge.

China PR

In the Chinese League One, Geoffrey Charles Chinedu opened the scoring for Liaoning Tieren, but Dalian Yingbo fought back twice to pick up a 3-2 victory.

Czech Republic

Wale Alli assisted the winning goal six minutes into stoppage time as České Budějovice soared to an exciting 3 – 2 victory against Slovan Liberec in the Czech Liga.

Estonia

Ahmed Adebayo grabbed a late consolation goal for Tammeka as they stumbled to a disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Kuressaare in the Estonian Meistriliiga.

It is now four goals in six league games for the exciting 21-year-old attacker. Last year, he managed seven goals in 15 league appearances.

England

Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka scored his first-ever Premier League goal just a minute after coming on as a substitute to lift Brentford to a 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

Fred Onyedinma endured a nightmarish outing in Manchester as champions Manchester City ran out 5-1 winners over Luton Town.

Ola Aina and Nottingham Forest fought out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In the Championship, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Emmanuel Dennis battled hard for Watford, but it ended in futility as Joe Aribo helped Southampton to a 3-2 victory.

Semi Ajayi's introduction in the second half could not stop West Brom from falling to a 0-1 loss at home to Sunderland.

Germany

Youngster Destiny Uche Obiogumu smashed an excellent double to power Hoffenheim II to a convincing 5-0 victory at Balingen in the Regionalliga.

The 19-year-old forward, who previously chatted with Gernot Rohr about playing for Nigeria, has four goals in only five league starts this term.

In the U19 Bundesliga, Chukwuma Onuoha was among the goals for RB Leipzig U19 as they carved out a thrilling 3-2 win against Dynamo Dresden U19

Iceland

Fatai Gbadamosi's first game of the Úrvalsdeild season ended in heartbreak as he scored an own goal to condemn Vestri to a huge 4-0 defeat at Breidablik.

Israel

Adeniyi James stole the headline as he powered Hapoel Hadera to a slim 1-0 away win against Beitar Jerusalem in the Ligat Ha'al Relegation Round.

Italy

David Okereke continued his search for a first Serie A goal of the season as he fired blanks in Torino's goalless home draw with Juventus.

Norway

Tebo Uchenna scored in the 74th minute to hand Sarpsborg 08 a 2-1 lead, but Fredrikstad netted a late equaliser to claim a 2-2 draw in their entertaining 2-2 Eliteserien clash.

Romania

After Universitatea Cluj broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, Christian Irobiso equalised for Petrolul 52 seven minutes later before Tommy Jyry banged the winner to secure a 2-1 comeback win for the visitors.

Spain

Toni Payne and Sevilla continued their inconsistent run as they fell to a 3-0 defeat at Eibar in the Primera División Femenina.

Elemebiri-born Joy Ebinemiere Bokiri was in action for Sporting de Huelva as they forced their hosts Real Sociedad to a 1-1 draw.

Sweden

Godwin Aguda fired the winning goal for Falkenberg in their tough 2-1 victory at Jönköpings Södra in the Swedish Ettan.
