The South African Football Association has announced the selection of the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria as the venue for the return leg of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament final qualifying fixture against Nigeria, Soccernet.ng reports.

The encounter between the 11-time Women Africa Cup of Nations champions and the Banyana Banyana is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 pm South Africa time (6:30 pm Nigeria time) on Tuesday, 9th April.

This decision comes as part of South Africa's preparations to host the crucial match against Nigeria, which will determine one of Africa's two representatives at this year's Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in France.

Meanwhile, in response to concerns about the hot climatic conditions in Nigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) requested a change in the kick-off time for the first leg of the fixture.

Ruth David, NFF’s Director of Competitions, confirmed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the request to move the match from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the MKO Abiola National Stadium.
