Hell-bent English club ready ₦14.5 billion bid to lure Osayi-Samuel from Fenerbahce

The English side tried to sign Osayi-Samuel last summer, but the deal did not work out

English Championship club Leeds United are planning a £7million offer for Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel in the summer. Soccernet.ng reports.

Osayi-Samuel has been impressive at Fenerbahce for the last three seasons. The 26-year-old full-back has been a regular for Fenerbahce, and his performances have linked him with a transfer away from the club.

Osayi-Samuel started his career in England, and he has been heavily linked with a return to the English league in the last year. Last summer, he was linked with a transfer to Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and Fulham, but the deal failed.

However, the talks have not stopped, especially as Osayi-Samuel has been impressive this season. In a new development, per Transfer Postasi, Leeds United are looking to table a £7million (₦14.5 billion) offer to Fenerbahce for Osayi-Samuel’s services.

The Peacocks currently sit second in the English Championship and look set for promotion. If they climb up to the Premier League, they will be looking for reinforcements in the summer, and it is likely that Osayi-Samuel will be one of their first buys.

Osayi-Samuel is valued at £7.3 million per Transfermarkt. So that would be a favourable price for Leeds United. Moreover, he already has experience playing in England.
