During today's training session, witnessed by Soccernet, the Porto FC defender was notably absent from the preparations for the clash against the Southern Africans.
This absence has stirred concerns among Nigerian football faithful, raising speculation that Sanusi may miss the upcoming semi-final against South Africa.
In his potential absence, Bruno Onyemaechi is tipped to fill in at the left wing, or alternatively, Fulham defender Calvin Bassey, who performed admirably during Nigeria's previous match against Cameroon, could step in.
