Osimhen, named the current Confederation of African Football Best Player of the Year, showcased his exceptional skills by scoring Nigeria's equaliser just seconds after Iban Salvador netted the opening goal. The Nigerian fans passionately cheered his name at the Olympique Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
Despite Nigeria's 15 goal attempts, with only six on target, Osimhen appeared dissatisfied as he couldn't convert some clear chances into goals to extend his team's lead.
