Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike is set to launch his state-of-the-art hospital in Owerri later this year, Soccernet.ng reports.
Emenike is one of Nigeria’s unforgettable heroes. He helped the Super Eagles to their third Africa Cup of Nations crown in South Africa in 2013. The former West Ham man scored four goals to finish as the joint-top highest goalscorer in the competition. However, he failed to deliver the goods for the Super Eagles after that competition.
In total, Emenike made 37 appearances and scored nine goals for the Super Eagles before retiring in 2019.
The 36-year-old has been out of the news for a while. But in a new development Emenike is about to do something big.
In a recent Instagram post, the former West Ham man shared pictures of a top hospital that he is building in Owerri. According to the post, the hospital will be launched later this year.
