Former Al-Ahly manager, Pitso Mosimane, has shed light on why Napoli's forward, Victor Osimhen, clinched the 2023 Confederation of African Football Award, Soccernet.ng reported.
Osimhen secured the title of the best player in the 2023 Confederation of African Football Award, surpassing competitors Achraf Hakimi and Mohamed Salah.
Mosimane was particularly impressed by Osimhen's recent standout performance, notably delivering stunning assists to Kvicha Kvaratskhelia during a Napoli clash, highlighting this as one of the factors behind his recognition.
Valued at around €120 million according to Transfermarkt, Osimhen's on-field prowess and impact were cited by the South African as reasons justifying his valuation.
