Michelle Alozie has piqued the interest of some football fans with her beauty and also her defending skills

Super Falcons and Houston Dash defender, Michelle Alozie, has garnered attention in a viral video playfully rejecting an admirer’s flowers, Soccernet.ng reports.

Alozie, who transitioned from being a medical lab scientist to a footballer, has become a fan favourite for her outstanding performances during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament.

Her on-field skills and beauty have captured the hearts of many football fans, including some Nigerian men, who have openly expressed their admiration.

However, in a recent video shared by Yabaleft, an admirer presented her with flowers, and she humorously rejected the gesture.

Previously, Alozie made headlines for expressing her admiration for Fulham star Alex Iwobi, particularly for his fashion sense.

There were also reports circulating about her sexual orientation after she referred to someone of the same sex as her “husband” on social media. However, she clarified that she is straight.

Despite her playful response to the admirer’s flowers, Alozie continues to impress on the field with the 11-time Africa Women’s Cup of Nations champions.

They recently secured a 5-1 aggregate victory against Ethiopia, advancing to the penultimate round against Cameroon in February 2024, with the aim of securing a spot at the 2024 Olympic tournament.
