He won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award in August and September, and the league have announced that the Nigerian has won the award for October.

Boniface swept RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons, and Mainz 05's Brajan Gruda aside to take home the award. PSG loanee, Xavi, has been in fine form for Die Roten Bullen. The 20-year-old has started ten games for Marco Rose and has been involved in nine goals for the club.
Meanwhile, Germany U-21 international, Gruda, has been integral to Mainz's resurgence after a very poor start to the season, but the exploits of the young talents couldn't deter Boniface from taking the award for the third time running.
Boniface had a blissful October, as he also scored his debut goal for the Super Eagles after making his debut in Nigeria's 6-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe.
The Nigerian has been included in the Super Eagles squad by Jose Peseiro, alongside club teammate, Nathan Tella, for the next International break.
