Rangers International Football Club were unable to leave the Remo Stars stadium with any points, losing by a single goal to the home side.

Popularly called Enugu Rangers, the men in red travelled in grand style and fashion to Ikenne with their sights set on all three points, with no love lost between both managers, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede.
Just before the game, Remo Stars manager confirmed that Fidelis, ex-Plateau United manager wasn't picking his calls ahead of their clash, but shrugged it off by saying his friend was probably focused on the game.
Rangers took the lead through a long-distance strike from Kazeem Ogunleye eight minutes into the game, stirring the visitors into pure ecstasy as all of the players on the pitch, and those on the bench, include coach Fidelis hit the famous Ronaldo celebration in unison.
