Watch: Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller shows off dance moves to Nigerian hit “Calm Down”

The song has received its highest number of streams from the USA, India, Mexico, Brazil, and the UK, making the billion-stream milestone on Spotify no small accomplishment for Rema, whose distinctive sound has catapulted him to the top of the international music scene

Bayern Munich’s dynamic forward, Thomas Muller, has taken to the stage, revealing his dancing prowess while grooving to “Calm Down,” a hit track by Nigerian artist Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, Soccernet.ng reports.

Rema, who burst onto the music scene in 2019 with his smash hit “Dumebi,” has solidified his place in the industry with the release of “Calm Down,” featuring American singer Selena Gomez.

The song has reached unprecedented heights, garnering over one billion streams on Spotify, becoming a stadium and football club anthem.

Notably, former Manchester United star Patrice Evra was previously spotted dancing to the infectious beat of “Calm Down,” further emphasizing the song’s global appeal.

Now, the video of Thomas Muller grooving to the track at a stadium alongside young fans has gone viral on social media.

With its Best Afrobeats award win at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, “Calm Down” has further solidified its status as a global hit, especially with the addition of a remix featuring global superstar Selena Gomez.
