Serie A champions Napoli have announced their intention to take legal action against an Italian toy store after a doll bearing a striking resemblance to Victor Osimhen went viral on social media, Soccernet.ng reports.
The unauthorized doll, produced by ‘Giochi Preziosi' and named the ‘Cicciobello Bomber,' features a protective mask with the number 9, a light blue jersey, and a tuft of curly blond hair, closely mirroring the Napoli striker's appearance.
In a statement released on Thursday evening, Napoli clarified that neither the club nor Osimhen had authorized the production of this doll, thereby infringing upon the player's image rights. Legal action is now pending against the toy company for this breach.

This latest development adds to the growing list of contentious issues surrounding Osimhen. Napoli is currently navigating a delicate situation regarding the renewal of his contract, while tensions have arisen due to the club's TikTok videos featuring the player.
