The Super Eagles are set to play Sao Tome and Principe next week, and they have begun training in earnest
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have started full training ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe on the 10th of September, Soccernet reports.
Three-time African champions Nigeria play Sao Tome at the Godswill Akpabio on the 10th of this month.
Coach Jose Peseiro invited 23 players for the game, including debutants like Gift Orban, Jordan Torunarigha, and Victor Boniface.
All the players reported to camp on Wednesday, and ahead of the game, training has started at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

The Super Eagles are massive favourites. They defeated Sao Tome 10-0 in the first leg at Agadir, with Osimhen scoring four goals.
This time, they would look to replicate that same performance, as a victory would seal their spot at the summit of Group A.
Coach Peseiro could experiment with the squad this time following the invitation of some new heads. Players like Orban, Boniface, and Torunarigha could make their debut for the Super Eagles. However, they may not play the full game, as Peseiro would start with his trusted lieutenants like Napoli star Victor Osimhen and AC Milan forward Samuel Chukwueze.
