The 27-year-old Nigerian dynamo will be crucial to the Foxes’ ambitions of gaining promotion to the Premier League this season
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has emerged as the highest-rated Leicester City player on EA FC 24, sharing the top spot with Ricardo Pereira, Soccernet.ng reports.
Ndidi and Pereira each boast a rating of 79, as per Football League World.
Following Leicester’s relegation last term, it is no surprise that Ndidi suffered a slight decrease in rating.
The defensive midfielder enjoyed an 81 rating in the previous edition of the game.
Ndidi has been a cornerstone of the Leicester City squad, amassing nearly 250 appearances for the club. His highest-rated base card came in FIFA 22, where he received an 84 overall rating.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Ndidi’s compatriot, occupies the seventh spot among the highest-rated Leicester City players on EA FC 24, with a rating of 76.
Iheanacho has experienced a slight drop in his rating, with decreases in pace, shooting, and dribbling stats, while his physical attributes have seen a boost.
Since joining Leicester from Manchester City in 2017, Iheanacho has featured in over 200 matches and scored over 50 goals.
Iheanacho and Ndidi were subjects of transfer speculations during the summer transfer window, with Iheanacho linked to Crystal Palace and Ndidi attracting interest from top clubs, including Bayern Munich.
Ultimately, both players decided to remain with Leicester City, aiming to aid the club in regaining their Premier League status.
They are doing a good job of it as Iheanacho scored in Leicester’s 2-0 victory over Norwich City at the weekend, contributing to their ascent to the second spot on the Championship table.
The high ratings of Ndidi, Iheanacho, and other Leicester players have solidified the team’s reputation as one of the top-rated sides in the Championship on the new game.
The game’s full release to the public on September 29, 2023, when they can put these ratings to the test.
