The Super Eagles striker joined Nottingham Forest last summer, but it appears he is not in Cooper’s plans
Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis is set to join Turkish Super Lig club Istanbul Basaksehir on a season-long loan deal, Soccernet reports.
Dennis joined Nottingham Forest from Watford last season after a campaign that saw him register ten goals and six assists in 37 appearances.
However, he did not get much game time at the club, as he made 25 appearances, most of which were off the bench. Coach Steve Cooper was not particularly impressed with the former Club Brugge man, and he became a more peripheral figure at the club.
Coming into the new campaign, the 25-year-old attacker was considered as surplus to requirements at the club.
This summer, Dennis has been linked with a transfer to other clubs- in the Premier League and abroad. And talks of his departure have been further fueled by the fact that he has not played any game this season.
Earlier, the Super Eagles star was linked with a transfer to Turkish top-flight club Basaksehir. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed the deal.

Dennis will join Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan transfer. However, there is no buy-out clause in his contract.
If he impresses, there is a possibility that Dennis will return to Nottingham Forest next season.
