From Akwa United to Moroccan club side, FUS Rabat, special twenty-year-old Nigerian defender, James Ajako, is set to make history abroad.

Moroccan Side, FUS Rabat have secured the services of Former Akwa United left-back, James Ajako after the youth prodigy left on a free transfer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Another NPFL talent leaves the shore of Nigeria to play abroad, in the person of twenty-year-old James Ajako, who will join FUS Rabat on a three-year deal.

He became a free agent at the end of last season and the Moroccan side wasted no time in making their intent known to the talented full-back.

It will come as a shock to the Akwa faithful how his contract wasn't renewed, as Ajako scored three goals and set up another five in a stellar individual campaign, and was even included in the Nigeria Professional League Team of the Season, after what was truly a wonderful performance and his move abroad proves to be dividends for a job well done.
