Why Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern target may stay put at Napoli amid transfer speculations

Victor Osimhen has piqued the interest of Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and a host of top European clubs following his performance for Napoli in winning their Serie A trophy after 33 years

Despite transfer rumours linking Victor Osimhen to top clubs such as Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain, the Nigerian star’s potential departure from Napoli may not be happening soon.

While Osimhen has attracted significant interest from these clubs, his price tag as the most expensive striker in the world has become a stumbling block.

Recently, Osimhen has dropped hints about his future at Napoli, expressing his love for the fans and admiration for how he has been treated in Naples.

Meanwhile, having received pieces of advice from various sources, he has emphasized that he will ultimately follow his heart when making a decision.

With preseason in full swing for many top clubs, pursuing alternative striker options has begun. Manchester United, for instance, has reportedly turned their attention to Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund, while Bayern Munich has made an offer for Harry Kane. On the other hand, Real Madrid has remained silent on the matter.

Given the current circumstances, it is likely that Osimhen will opt to sign a new lucrative contract that keeps him at the Diego Maradona Stadium.

This would provide Napoli with stability while also potentially allowing the club to sell him in the future if a suitable transfer clause is triggered.

It will be interesting to see how Osimhen’s situation builds as the transfer window progresses. While he is still a highly sought-after player, the financial implications and his affinity for Napoli suggest that a move may not happen right away.
