The 26-year-old, who scored the winning goal for Nigeria over Sierra Leone in a recent qualifying match, still has a year left on his contract.
The former U17 forward, who was named the club's best player at the end of last season with 8 goals and 5 assists, has been attracting interest from Nottingham Forest, Everton, Besiktas and a host of other clubs in England and abroad.
