Transfers: Promising Nigerian defender joins Bulgarian side FC Arda Khadzhali

Okezie Ebenezer’s transfer to FC Arda will be his third club since moving to Europe in 2020

Bulgarian side FC Arda Khadzhali have announced the signing of a talented Nigerian defender, Okezie Prince Ebenezer, from Armenian club FC Noah, Soccernet.ng reports.

After completing all his medicals and paperwork, the 22-year-old left-back signed a three-year contract and will join his new teammates for pre-season ahead of the new Bulgarian Professional League season.

Ebenezer has been at FC Noah since January 2021, making 36 appearances for the club. He was impressive in the Armenian League, where his good defending ability caught the interest of FC Arda Khadzhali.

The 22-year-old started his football journey with Nigerian amateur side Supreme Kings FC before leaving Africa to begin his European tour with Moldovan club Zimbru Chisinau in the summer of 2020.

He impressed in his one-and-half seasons in Moldova, making 40 appearances and scoring five goals, before switching to FC Noah in the January of 2021.

FC Arda officially announced the signing of the left-back on the website, stating,

Another transfer was carried out by the management of PFC ARDA. Today, the Nigerian Prince Okezie Ebenezer who comes from the Armenian Noah, signed a 3-year contract. Ebenezer was born on February 28, 2001, and is 178cm tall, plays as a left back. A few days ago, the players took part in trials for CSKA 1948 ll and Locomotiv St. In the last year, Okezie has played 31 games with Noah’s team.

The club’s management, coaches, players, and fans wish Okezie Ebenezer’s ARDA team much success.

Ebenezer’s transfer to FC Arda Khadzali marks an exciting chapter in his career as he aims to impact the Bulgarian football scene significantly.
