Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo will arrive Turkey on Tuesday to finalise a move from CD Leganes to Super Lig side, Kasimpasa, Soccernet.ng reports
As reported by Spanish outlet AS Diario fews weeks ago about the willingness of the Spanish club to part ways with the Nigerian international this summer, with the aim to remove him from their wage bill as he is currently among the top earners at the club.
Now, according to Daily Post, Leganes and Kasimpasa have agreed to a deal for the transfer of the 29-year-old former Chelsea defender to move to Turkey this summer.
He is now expected to complete the final details of the deal and undergo medicals in the coming days. The completion of the transfer will see Omeruo departs from Spain after five years with the Segunda division club.
Omeruo is making a return to the Turkish Super Lig club after a previous loan stint in the 2017/18 season, and has been given permission to sort out the final details of the transfer after leaving Leganes’ training camp a few days ago.
The Super Eagles defender will reunite with other Nigerian players plying their trades in the European country.
