Samuel Chukwueze remains of interest to AC Milan, who have identified the 24-year-old as a focal point in this summer window to improve their right wing ahead of the new season.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nigerian International is getting closer to agreeing on a deal with the Milan-based club, which could soon see him become the sixth Nigerian player in the history of the club to wear the famous black and red after jersey Taribo West, Nnamdi Oduamadi, Aliyu Datti, Taye Taiwo, and Kinglsey Umunegbu.

Negotiations between the club are set to start today, with the player already showing the desire to join Milan. Agreement on a fee between the two clubs remains the main obstacle, as the Italian club are not willing to match Villareal's £30m demand for the player.
Chukwueze has made 207 appearances in Villareal's Yellow Submarine Jersey, scoring 37 goals and 31 assists, and has been scouted by Milan as the perfect fit in their plans for the coming season.
