The Super Eagles star joined Nottingham Forest last season and contributed 10 league goals to help the club avoid an immediate return to the Sky Bet Championship

Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi models Nottingham Forest’s away Jersey for the coming 2023-24 season, Soccernet.ng reports

The 25-year-old has been a key member of the club since joining them from Union Berlin last year on a five-year contract.

Awoniyi, who showcased his goalscoring skills on the pitch for the Tricy Trees last season, has revealed his modeling style of play in the club’s new jersey.

The Nottingham-based club shared a picture of the former Union Berlin striker sporting the new jersey on their Instagram page with the caption

Awoniyi impressed in his first season in England, flexing his muscle to provide 10 league goals to help Nottingham Forest keep their Premier League status.

Though he missed some parts of the last season due to injury, he was still able to help the club’s fortune whenever he was on the pitch.

He scored six goals in Forest’s last four games and also bag the winner against Arsenal that ended the North London club’s hopes of winning the title.

Forest will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in their first game of the new Premier League season.
