Napoli has been heavily linked with a move away from Naples this summer, but the club wants a huge fee before they let him go
Italian Serie A Champions Napoli have rejected a €100million(₦85billion) bid from PSG for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen has been one of the best strikers in Europe since last season. The Nigerian striker was superb for Napoli, helping the club to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
His brilliance also earned him the Capocannoniere last season after scoring 26 goals in the Serie A, becoming the first African player to do so.
Osimhen’s ability has attracted interest from some of the biggest teams in Europe, with Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern Munich all in the mix for his signature.
Actua Foot have now revealed that PSG have made a move for the free-scoring Nigerian attacker. Les Parisians have made an opening bid of €100million for Osimhen, but the Italian champions rejected the offer.
Napoli are holding out for a bumper fee because of the caliber of clubs interested in Osimhen and they may not listen to any offer that is less than €150million.
