Report: Belgian Champions to pay Amiens ₦6billion for 16-year-old Lagos-born sensation who loves Mbappe

Ilenikhena is only 16 but he is already making waves

Belgian champions Royal Antwerp are set to pay Amiens €6.5million[₦6billion] for the signing of Nigeria-eligible striker George Ilenikhena, Soccernet.ng reports.

At just 16 years of age, Ilenikhena has been making waves in the lower leagues of French football. He scored sid goals in ten games for Amiens’ junior team in the N3 – Hauts-de-France.

He then joined the senior team where he scored two goals in 16 appearances for Amiens in the French Ligue 2.

His performances have turned the heads of some clubs in Europe like Olympique Marseille and Lyon.

However, according to Foot Mercato, the youngster is set to join last season’s Belgian champions Antwerp. The deal is expected to be worth €6.5million and will last for four years.

Ilenikhena was born in Lagos, he and his Nigerian parents relocated to France when he was three years old. He is a big fan of PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

The attacker has already played for France at youth level, but he can still switch allegiances to Nigeria.
