Ndidi could leave the King Power this summer, and Leicester City are already looking to sign another defensive midfielder
Leicester City are plotting a transfer for Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder Harry Winks, Soccernet.ng reports.
Leicester City suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, and they may lose some of their best legs this summer.
Some of their players are in the final years of their contracts. Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho and Ndidi have just one year left, James Madison has a year left too, while Youri Tielemans’ deal expires at the end of the month.
There have been talks that Ndidi could leave the club this summer, and that would be a big loss for them. However, they seem to have identified a replacement.
The Telegraph reports that Leicester City want to to sign Tottenham defensive midfielder Winks this summer. Winks is 27 years old, but he is yet to find his fee in his career.
He spent last season at Sampdoria, making 20 appearances. But the club got relegated from the Serie A. According to Transfermarkt, he is worth €10million.
The Foxes are preparing for life in the Championship, and if they receive a decent offer for Ndidi, they could accept.
