Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool plan talks with hot Nigerian forward amid transfer links

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all still looking to bolster their teams for the 2023–2024 season

Premier League powerhouses Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool are reportedly scheduled to engage in discussions with the camp of Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old Nigerian forward has garnered significant attention following his standout performances both at the club and international level, attracting interest from various European teams.

Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that the upcoming week will be crucial in determining Osimhen’s potential move to his desired league, as meetings with his representatives are set to take place.

The prolific Super Eagles star has impressively scored 26 goals and provided 5 assists in domestic league competitions, contributing to a remarkable total of 31 goals in just 39 appearances under the guidance of coach Luciano Spalletti.

Chelsea, amid squad rejuvenation, including the departure of certain players to the Saudi Arabian league, is keen on securing the services of an exciting forward such as Victor Osimhen to fill vacant positions.

In their pursuit of a quality striker since the departure of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United has identified Osimhen, along with Harry Kane, as one of their top targets.

While Liverpool may not be in dire need of the Nigerian international, a potential move to Anfield would generate excitement, as Osimhen seeks to fulfil his aspiration of playing in the prestigious Premier League.

Although there have been no official statements from the clubs involved, including his current team Napoli, the Super Eagles’ attacker’s market value suggests that this summer presents the ideal opportunity for Aurelio De Laurentiis to secure a substantial transfer fee for his services.
