Osimhen has attracted a lot of top clubs in Europe and Chelsea are already making moves
Chelsea are planning to make a bid of ₦60billion(€110million) plus bonuses for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen has been wonderful for Napoli since last season. He has become the lethal force in the Partenopeans’ attack helping them to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
The 24-year-old Nigerian attacker has scored 28 goals in 36 appearances for the Serie A champions this season. And he has proven to be deadly with his head and his feet.
Osimhen’s displays have not gone unnoticed as many top European sides have been linked with him. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG, and Bayern Munich have all shown interest in signing the former Lille striker.
However, Napoli could demand up to €150million before they let him go. Chelsea are in dire need of an overhaul after a terrible season that has seen them languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League.
One of their evident problems is the absence of a proper point man. And according to Plettigoal, Osimhen tops the list of strikers that they are looking to recruit. The Blues are planning to offer Napoli €110million+bonuses for the Nigerian.
However, that offer may not convince Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis who is an astute businessman
Nonetheless, he may be tempted to take it if a better offer does not come as Osimhen has just two years left on his deal.
