Ahead of their clash against the Golden Eaglets, Morocco’s U-17 head coach, Said Chiba, has revealed the two main strengths of the Nigerian side, Soccernet.ng reports.
Chiba admitted that the Eaglets have a physical and athletic team, which his side must be prepared to deal with.
The two sides will go head to head in a crucial Group B encounter on Wednesday, which will go a long way in determining who finishes top of the group.
Both teams won their opening games, but Morocco are currently top of the group due to their superior goal difference.
Chiba, who watched the Eaglets in their first game, expressed his admiration for the physical and quick offensive strength of head coach Nduka Ugbade’s lads.
He also stated that his team must be more organized to play the Eaglets differently from their match against South Africa.
“It will be a very difficult game, and so will all the matches in this group. I watched Nigeria, and it is a team which is very strong physically and quick on the offensive,” Chiba told CAFonline.
“We definitely have to prepare and play them differently from the match against South Africa. We will try to be more organized.”
The clash between the Atlas Cubs and the Golden Eaglets is expected to be a tough match, with both teams hoping to affirm their place in the last eight.
The Eaglets have won the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations twice, while the Atlas Cubs have never won the tournament, so they will be looking to make a statement in this game.
