To find a prospective successor for the former Fenerbahce defender, FootballItalia reports that Parthenopeans have begun digging into the European market.

Before Fenerbahce's current season began, the Gli Azzurri bought the Korean player and enticed him to the Serie A team to replace Kalidou Koulibaly, who had departed for Chelsea.

The center-back, though, has excelled in just his first season with Napoli, and other teams all over Europe are eager to sign him.

Meanwhile, it seems that he has not only filled Koulibaly's shoes but also above expectations. Along with Osimhen, he has served as the backbone of Napoli, helping them break their Serie A trophy drought.

The Korean player's deal with the Neapolitans expires in 2025, thus he may only stay a short while before switching to Manchester United to fix the Red Devils' defensive problems.
