The song was named Song of the Year in 2019 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA). Although the video with Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage featured in it was nominated for a Soundcity MVP Award, it did not take home the accolade.
The Nigerian women's team is feeling upbeat after beating Haiti, and they hope to continue that momentum when they take on one of the hosts of the FIFA Women's World Cup's ninth edition this coming Tuesday.
