Terem Moffi’s bicycle kick goal was voted the Europa Conference League goal of the week
Lokomotiv Zagreb striker, Ibrahim Aliyu, was spotted hitting an overhead kick during his team’s league matchup against NK Osijek.
The Nigerian has been illuminating the Zagreb team with his goal-scoring prowess since joining the Croatian team in 2020, since he began his European career.
Terem Moffi’s amazing goal handed OGC Nice the lead in their Europa Conference League quarterfinal match on Thursday night at the St. Jakob-Park, shocking fans all around.
Two days later, Ramon Mierez’s first goal for the home team was cancelled by Aliyu, Moffi’s countryman, who seized on a pass into the box and rose to shoot an overhead kick into the bottom right corner.

More drama unfolded during the second half of the game when Sandro Kulenovic gave the visitors the lead in the 80th minute, but the away supporters could not rejoice for more than five minutes when Mierez levelled the score to give both teams a share of the spoils.
The Nigerian, who is now Goran Tomi’s team’s second-leading scorer in the 2022–23 season, played for the Nigerian under-20 team in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but failed to score a goal the whole competition.
But the Nigerian has been an important part of the Croatian team since 2020, with 17 goals and 7 assists in his 83 appearances.
