Serie A: Success scores first goal of the season as Udinese demolish Cremonese

Success has been a regular for Udinese, but he finally scored his first Serie A goal of the season on Sunday

Super Eagles striker Isaac Success scored his first Serie A goal of the season in their 3-0 bashing of Cremonese Soccernet.ng reports.

Udinese welcomed Cremonese to the Dacia Arena on Sunday. They were looking to bounce back from the 3-0 loss they suffered at Roma last week.

Their opponents Cremonese beat Empoli 1-0 last time out and were in high spirits for the tie. Success started for Udinese, while Cyriel Dessers was on the other end for Cremonese.

Udinese have been better than Cremonese this season, and the difference showed. Lazar Samardzic scored inside just two minutes to put Udinese in front.

Despite going behind, Cremonese could not up the ante. Udinese were still the more threatening side. Success won a foul on the left side of Cremonese’s final third. Samardzic took the free-kick, which Nehuen Perez jumped highest to meet and placed a wicked header into the net to make it 2-0.

The Little Zebras still weren’t done, however. They kept knocking, and this time, it was Success who forced the door open. Jaka Bijol played the Nogerian striker through on goal with a brilliant pass, and Success made no mistake dispatching the ball into the net from close range to make it 3-0 in the 36th minute.

Dessers was silenced on the afternoon. He added very little to the game. He was taken off in the 60th minute for Giacomo Quagliata.

The game ended 3-0 in favour of Udinese.
