Football pundit and commentator Fabio Caressa has tipped Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to win the Ballon d'Or if his club lifts the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.
Osimhen notched his 21st goal of the Serie A season at the weekend as his brilliant brace of headers helped Napoli power past Torino on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward has been spectacular even in the UEFA Champions League. He scored three goals across two legs against Eintracht Frankfurt to guide Napoli to the club's first-ever quarterfinal outing.

Caressa believes Napoli's current run of form and performances could see them go all the way in the Champions League this season. If they do, he thinks Osimhen would be a worthy recipient of football's most prestigious individual award.
“Wouldn't we give the Ballon d'Or to Osimhen if Napoli were to win the Champions League?” Caressa said.
“Anyway, Napoli is an asset to Italian football and the best showcase for our league. But Osimhen is truly extraordinary; what a season he's having! We're all in love with him and Napoli.”
