The O2 Arena battle was hailed as the largest MMA match in British history
Nottingham Forest star Keylor Navas and his family were spotted meeting with Nigerian UFC fighter Kamaru Usman ahead of his rival fight with Leon Edwards.
Before the bout, the Costa Rican was spotted talking with the 35-year-old and posing for photos.
Ahead of their third encounter, the Jamaican and the Nigerian fighter travelled to London’s O2 Arena for their Saturday bout.
Edwards lost to Usman in the UFC eight years ago, and the Nigerian seemed to be dominating their rematch last August until Edwards rallied from behind to win the fight with less than a minute left in the round.
Meanwhile, a new stage was set for his return, but the 31-year-old once again demonstrated his superior strength by narrowly defeating the Nigerian.
The former Real Madrid star, who just switched from Paris Saint-Germain to Nottingham Forest, made a detour in London before the event to show Usman some respect along with his wife and son.

Nevertheless, Usman proclaimed his rematch after losing, indicating that he would have a successful chat with his trainers, who would help him get ready for the subsequent encounter.
