The Belgian champions have had a rollercoaster season, and they are yet to find a tactician that can return them to their best
Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika is set to get his third manager of the season at Club Brugge after they sacked Scott Parker.
It has been a rollercoaster season for Nigeria midfielder Onyedika. He arrived from Danish club FC Midtjylland last summer for €10million- the second .most expensive buy by Club Brugge.
However, he has had to play under two different managers this season. Club Brugge sacked Carl Hoefkens in December 2022 after a poor run of results.
They then employed former Bournemouth coach Scott Parker to fill the void. However, the club announced on Wednesday that they have parted ways with the Englishman after their 5-1 bashing against Benfica in the Champions League.
“Scott Parker is no longer head coach of Club Brugge,” Club Brugge shared on their website.
Parker had an abysmal record at Brugge, winning just two of his 12 games. They sit fourth in the Jupiler League, 21 points adrift of leaders KRC Genk.
Onyedika will get a new manager in the coming days and it would his third coach in his debut season at the club.
