Iheanacho waved his magic wand again but his effort could not see Leicester City through
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho got off the bench to score for Leicester City, but his effort was not enough as they got knocked out of the FA Cup after a 2-1 loss to Blackburn.
Leicester City were favourites to claim all three points when they welcomed Blackburn to the King Power Stadium for their round of 16 FA Cup clash.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers started Iheanacho from the bench and opted for Vardy instead.
Leicester City started well, but they were pegged back just after the half-hour mark after a great strike from Tyrhys Dolan.

In a bid to salvage something from the tie, Rodgers introduced Iheanacho into the game in the 58th minute.
The Super Eagles striker was an instant impact, as he scored within nine minutes of his introduction. His goal ensured a frenetic end to the game, but Blackburn held on tight to their lead and saw out the scoreline to seal their place in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.
For Iheanacho, he continues to impress in England’s oldest competition. He maintains the record for the highest goalscorer in the FA Cup since 2016. The former Manchester City man has 18 goals in 24 FA Cup appearances.
