With bumps in the road, best Osimhen solidifies his spot in the hearts of the Parthenopeans

The Super Eagles forward recently raised his goal tally in the Serie A campaign to 17 goals in 18 appearances this season.

Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, have been on the radar of some clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, and other European clubs.

Soccernet.ng earlier reported that Napoli are trying every possible means to ensure that they retain their star man at the Diego Maradona stadium.

While the Nigerian striker has piqued the interest of these clubs in England, Osimhen, whose contract with the Parthenopean ends in 2025, has been labeled not for sale by the Napoli president, De Laurentiis.

Despite the roadblock, further reports claim that Chelsea are looking to table a more tempting offer that includes their €55 million rated Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku plus a huge cash to lure the Super Eagles striker to Stamford Bridge Stadium.

To further strengthen their defense of holding the Nigerian player in Naples, reports suggests that Napoli are looking to hand a tempting contract to the 24-year-old which would dent some club’s dream of luring the player to England.

This report further revealed that the Gli Azzurri are willing to offer the Nigerian a salary of around €6.5 million to €7 million per season which will make him the highest-paid player presently occupied by Poland’s Piotr Zienliński.

While all this is going on, Osimhen has gained the hearts of the Napoli fans who sing lyrical of his name at each outstanding performance he delivers for Luciano Spalletti’s men.

It is advised that he keeps doing this in order to cement his love in their hearts, rather than hurting the supporters’ feelings by submitting a transfer request to join another team

Given his advanced age, additional teams would be interested in signing him when and if he can help Spalletti’s team win more trophies, such as the Scudetto and the UEFA Champions League.
