The Under-20 team coach invited the Nigerian international to training, but the match against Zambia, which might have been a good test, was rescheduled.
Ademola Ola-Adebomi, a striker who is both English and Nigerian, has garnered attention from the head coach of the Nigerian Under-20 national team, Ladan Bosso.
The Gaffer believes the Crystal Palace attacker has the physicality needed to develop into a fantastic player.
Ladan has left the 19-year-old out of his team as he and his boys get ready for the next AFCON competition in Egypt.
Despite this, the former coach of Gombe United has indicated that he loves the center striker and would want to work with him if his side qualifies for the World Cup.
” I like the boy a lot. He has the right physique to be a top player. Very humble and his talent is not in doubt. The perfect chance to see him properly would have been the game against Zambia but it was postponed. I’ll work with him if we make it to the World Cup”, the coach revealed to OwnGoalNigeria.
He additionally stated that he is keeping a watch on three players, including Ola-Adebomi, but he refused to reveal their identities.
” He is not the only foreign-based player I have on my list. Three of them I will properly look at when we make it to the World Cup. For now we have players who have been with us for over six to nine months, working with them for the purpose of the AFCON is only normal”, he added.
Ola-Adebomi was granted a three-day respite and invited by the coach to the Nigerian squad’s camp in Abuja, where he trained with the team but was later required to return to England.
