The Super Eagles defender had not been with the club since November due to an injury he sustained during his team’s triumph against Atlético Madrid.

Nigerian international, Zaidu Sanusi, has expressed gratitude to God for his return from an injury spell.

The Super Eagles defender sustained an injury during his team’s 2-1 Champions League triumph against Atlético Madrid, and has since then not featured for Azuis e brancos.

According to his club, The Super Eagles fullback tore his abductor muscle, which left him out of 13 consecutive matches for the Dragons.

The 25-year-old was back in the line-up when Porto faced Academico Viseu in the Semifinal, but he was only able to watch his club win from the sidelines.

However, Sanusi made his first return to play as he made an 11-minute appearance in his Side’s 2-1 victory against their fierce rivals Sporting CP at the Estádio José Alvalade XX.

Following the victory, the Super Eagles star took to his social media platform to celebrate his comeback.

“Alhmllh masha Allah to be back 🤲🙏👊 vamos @FCPorto 💙” he wrote.

Recall that the Nigerian star’s performance in the first half of the 2022–23 Champions League campaign, particularly his Champions League goal against Bayer Leverkusen, received a lot of attention among sports fans.

The former CD Santa Clara player then won Sérgio Conceiço’s admiration and was handed a regular spot in his starting line-up.

He was starting to show signs of having a top-notch performance while this was going on.

However, the Nigerian will be eager to maintain his stellar play for the squad as his side travels to second-bottom SC Maritimo at Estádio do Martimo.

The injury occurred on November 1 in a Champions League match against Atlético Madrid, and the left-back has not played since.

In addition to the useful information, I find the presentations to be really entertaining.
