Nottingham Forest to make a transfer heist for promising Nigerian star

Nottingham Forest are planning to hijack the signature of the Nigerian International from his club.

Nottingham Forest are looking to recruit Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel from Fenerbahçe.

The Nigerian defender has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace, who are hoping to bring him to Selhurst Park Stadium in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, soccernet previously reported that Palace is aiming to sign the Nigerian for a sum of approximately €11.28 million.

However, the Tricky Trees seem to be active in the January transfer window, having just secured the loan signing of Chris Wood as a back-up for Taiwo Awoniyi.

The Reds, who were in relegation trouble before the World Cup break, seem to be off to a promising start in 2023.

Steve Cooper would like to keep the great run going after winning three of their past five games.

According to reports, Forest wants to grab the Super Eagles from Crystal Palace and lure him to City Ground as part of their revival drive.

Considering Osayi-Samuel’s strong performance for the Turkish team, the Reds may struggle to complete the transfer.

Despite making 20 appearances for the Turkish club this season, the 25-year-old has failed to score.

This might be due to the fact that he is being played in a position other than his typical one for QPR, which is on the wing.

However, Fenerbahçe persuaded the Nigerian from QPR to Turkey for a sum of roughly €508k, and if Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace go head-to-head for his signature, Fenerbahçe will make a substantial profit.
