The Nigeria international forward is the Super Eagles’ only active centurion and one of the country’s most successful exports
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has posted a touching remembrance message to his late mother on the fourth anniversary of her death.
It will be recalled that Ahmed Musa’s mother, Sarah Moses, died on Thursday 24th of January 2019.
Madam Sarah Moses had single-handedly nurtured Ahmed Musa and her other four daughters when her husband passed on over two decades ago. Musa was seven years old when his father, a Maiduguri businessman, died.
And on Tuesday, Ahmed Musa took to Twitter to celebrate his late mother, noting how it has been impossible to forget her impact.
He wrote: “Dear mum, it’s been 4 years without you and not a single day pass without me thinking about you. The void you have left is so evident but I am grateful because I am doing all I can to make you proud. We all miss you dearly. Continue To Rest well mum.”
