Ex-Super Eagles player has praised the Atlas Lion, who recently defeated the Spaniards to become the fourth African team to progress to the Quater-finals.

The Super Eagles icon Sunday Oliseh claims that his wife previously foresaw the Moroccan team doing well at the World Cup.

The Moroccan national squad has performed well so far in the World Cup competition.

Recently, they narrowly defeated Portugal in the Quarter-finals, ending Cristiano Ronaldo’s World Cup aspirations.

As an outcome, the Atlas Lion became the first nation from Africa to make it all the way to the World Cup semifinals.

Morocco, who will face England or France in the last four, were happy to play on the counter and grabbed the opener just before the break when En-Nesyri headed in from Yahya Attiyat-Allah’s cross.

Following this, the Ex-Super Eagles player revealed on his social media platform to Salute Walid Regragui’s side.

“After 48 years of trying, Morocco has made Africa into a world superpower status in football.

Ecstatic & privileged to be here at Al Thumama Stadium to witness Morocco do it.” he remarked.

Oliseh also said that his Moroccan-born wife had already foreseen the triumph of the North African nation in the 2022 World Cup competition.

“Wifey jokingly predicted this when she came to Qatar! Guess our wives are always right after all.”  the former Super Eagles coach stated.
