The Super Eagles star missed Nigeria’s international friendly game against Portugal in November
Italian Serie A side Napoli have revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has fully recovered from the back injury that ruled him out of Nigeria’s friendly against Portugal in November.
Osimhen was on fire just before the World Cup break in November, scoring five goals in five games. And the 23-year-old Nigerian forward was expected to light up the Super Eagles’ friendly game against Portugal on the 17th of November.
However, he pulled out of the friendly because of a back injury.
Napoli resumed full training on Wednesday after the two-week break, and Osimhen was part of the session.

The club doctor Canonico has revealed that Osimhen is back to full fitness and is ready to go.
“Kvaratskhelia has already returned to the group, the back pain has passed,” Dr. Canonico said as per FantaCalcio.
“Osimhen has also recovered from a trauma to the lumbar region. Rrahmani’s recovery is proceeding quickly. We aim to get him back January 4 with Inter.”
Napoli have two friendly games lined up before Serie A resumes. They play Antalyaspor and Crystal Palace on the 7th and 12th of December, and Osimhen would look to continue from where he stopped before the international break.
