Victor Ehuwa Eletu just signed his first professional contract, bringing a new name into the limelight of AC Milan’s youthful prospects.

Eletu has played a significant role in Ignazio Abate’s Primavera team so far, making 19 appearances in all leagues this season.

In Nigeria this week, Eletu has taken over as the most talked-about subject.

  2. The Young star was born in April, 2005
  3. The 17-year-old began his career at Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.
  4. In 2018, the 17-year-old was awarded a scholarship at AC Milan’s football academy to pursue his ambition of becoming a professional football player.
  5. Eletu is a right-footed player who can play as a box-to-box midfielder or defensive midfielder different situations.
  6. Eletu is presently considered one of the top young midfielders in Europe, not only in Italy.
  7. He has previously participated in the UEFA Youth League, Italian Primavera, Coppa Italia Primavera, Campionato Nazionale, and the Viareggio Cup for Milan’s age-grade teams.
  8. The midfielder captained AC Milan’s U-19 squad for the 2022–23 season in July after participating in preseason practices with the main team.
  9. His capabilities are long balls, tight-space dribbling, vision, speed, endurance, and power in one-on-one contests.
  10. Eletu’s trajectory may enable him to equal or perhaps exceed the accomplishments of people like John Mikel Obi, Sunday Oliseh, and Mutiu Adepoju.
