Everton suffered their seventh loss of the season when they got trounced 3-0 by Bournemouth on Saturday
Distraught and disappointed by the defeat to the Cherries, the Toffees faithful have let it all out on the social media, asking for the dismissal of head coach, Frank Lampard.
Perhaps what was a stronger statement of anger, albeit bizarre, was how a fan rejected Alex Iwobi’s sweet gesture.
Footballers giving out their shirt to football fans is a common occurrence in the game but it’s rarely seen after a defeat, except in special cases.
Iwobi’s gesture after the loss to Bournemouth was outrightly rejected as the fan (or someone else) hurled the shirt back at him after he threw it to them.

The video has made its way round the Everton fan base and is as funny as ridiculous.
Iwobi who has been on springs this season, with 5 assists in 15 games and runs of good displays under his belt, has been arguably Everton’s best player this season.
Everton currently sit in 17th place, having lost seven games, won just three and drawn five.
The yet-to-be identified fan’s action has been criticised by some fans while many others found it as what it exactly is – ludicrous, unnecessary and overboard.
Your post is absolutely brilliant!
