The Nigeria international has taken to the Italian top flight like a bird to the sky following his arrival from Germany in the summer
Nigerian attacker Ademola Lookman has aimed a dig at Serie A referees after helping Atalanta beat Sassuolo on Saturday.
Lookman scored for the third game running as Atalanta came from a goal deficit to earn a 2-1 victory at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.
The Super Eagles winger had earlier scored in consecutive games against Fiorentina and Udinese.
In the 2-2 draw at Udinese, Lookman was strangely shown a yellow card by referee Daniele Doveri for his celebration.
Lookman is known for indicating an eyeglass frame with his fingers over his eyes, ‘a look-man stance’, when celebrating his goals.
And the former Everton man was genuinely surprised to receive a caution for a celebratory style he has employed without trouble in Germany and England.

Interestingly, after scoring against Sassuolo, Lookman celebrated with his trademark fingers for eyeglasses. But referee Matteo Marcenaro did not show the Nigerian forward a yellow card for his endeavour.
And after the encounter, Lookman took to his Twitter account to taunt the inconsistency of the Italian referees.
“Luckily no yellow card this time,” he wrote.

Lookman has scored four goals and provided an assist since joining Atalanta in the summer.
