Wilfred Ndidi has emerged Leicester’smost expensive player according to rankings by Transfermarkt.
Ndidi, valued at €50m, considered a conservative amount is deemed more valuable than England teammate, James Maddison.
He ranks as the second-most-expensive Nigerian player and the 6th, on the list of players born in 1996.
According to the football statistics company, Ndidi is the 33rd most-expensive Premier League player and 77th in the world.
Among players in the defensive midfield position, Ndidi ranks 6th.
The Super Eagles midfielder has struggled this season as Leicester struggle for form and consistency while Ndidi is being deployed as a centre back.
The Nigeria International began his career in the defense and has shown decency when called upon.
Ndidi ranks only behind Victor Osimhen on the Nigerian list and is also one of the most expensive Africa footballers.
