Deadline day: Torino reject ₦3.8billion bid for Super Eagles defender

The Super Eagles star has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League, but the bulls want to milk out as much as possible from his transfer

Italian Serie A side Torino have rejected an €8million bid (plus add-ons) from West Ham for Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina.

Aina has been linked with a move away from Turin all summer, with Crystal Palace and Fulham amongst his likely destinations.

However, nothing concrete has emerged from those talks. The Super Eagles star has started the season well with Torino, starting all four of their games.

Nonetheless, the talks have not gone away, as Skysports reporter Dharmesh Sheth reports that West Ham’s €8million(₦3.8billion) offer for the former Chelsea man was rejected by Torino.

The bulls are holding out for at least €10million for the Super Eagles right-back, but the Hammers are yet to increase their offer.

If the deal works out, it would be a return home for the London-born defender, who began his career at Chelsea.
